Never grow up

A child is someone you hold in your belly for 9 months, in your arms for 3 years, in your hand for 10 years, but in your heart for a lifetime.

Yesterday, my 8 year old daughter and I were talking about her favorite songs, and one of them is the song "Never Grow Up" by Taylor Swift.  She asked me, "do you wanna know why i love that song?", I answered yes. Then she told me that she loves it because it is all about the love of a parent  to his/her child and vice versa, that her parents doesn't want her to grow up yet. We always talk about that, me not wanting her to grow up too fast and she also doesn't want me and her dad to grow old yet. There are times that she would tell me, "i don't want you to grow old because i want to spend more time with you". My daughter is such a sweet girl, she never ever fails to make us smile.

Anyways, I want to share the song that made me and my hubby teary eyed. The message is simple, that is, to enjoy being a child, and let your parents take care of you and protect you, because you might miss it when you're older. And of course the never ending love of every parent for their children. I hope this song touches your heart like it touched ours...........
